BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Community Building

DECEMBER 18, 2024 @ 7:00 pm

 

 

Attending board members: Steve blades, Sid Dev, Julius Maes, Emali Porter, Dave Muller, Mayor. Absent: Jill Dzekunskas and Sue Aldred.

 

The meeting opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

 

 

November Board Minutes, November Treasurers’ Report, and December Invoices payable

Motion to approve Sid Dev, 2nd Julius Maes, roll call vote, all ayes.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Water and Sewer – Sid Dev/Markus Chapman –Everett is managing everything, and we have ordered books for training.

Community Events & Building Permits – Emali Porter – Working on a Trivia night.

Police & Ordinances - Sue Aldred – Nothing to report.

Garbage & Emergency Plan – Jill Dzekunskas – Garbage for Christmas and New Year’s week is moved to Thursday.

Streets – Steve Blades – Ordering salt.

Village Equipment – Julius Maes – Plow is ready to go. Chad Anderson will help us if we need help.

MAYOR’S REPORT

Budget – Discussion on budget.

Shelter in the Park & IDNR Grant – Waiting on auditor to complete audit before we get the grant money.

Housing Rehab Round 2 – We have fourteen (14) applicants. We need ten (10) approvals. If you want to sign up, please let our office know so we can get you’re the paperwork to fill out.

Electronic Sign – Electric for the sign needs updated before installing the sign.
