BOARD MEETING MINUTES

Community Building

December 20, 2023 @ 7:30 pm

 

 

Attending board members: Sid Dev, Matt Benecke, Jill Dzekunskas, Julius Maes, and Mayor Dave Mueller. Absent: Sue Aldred and Emali Porter

The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance and roll call.

 

October Board Minutes, October Treasurers’ Report, and November Invoices payable

Motion to approve Sid Dev, 2nd Julius Maes, roll call vote all ayes.

 

COMMITTEE REPORTS

Water and Sewer – Sid Dev/Markus Chapman –. Components for the new meters are starting to arrive. Once the meters are installed, the garbage truck will have the meter reader. The meters will be read during the garbage route.

Community Events & Building Permits – Emali Porter –Nothing to report.

Police & Ordinances - Sue Aldred –. Nothing to report.

Garbage & Emergency Plan – Jill Dzekunskas – The garbage truck went to Neponset Truck and Tractor for repairs.

Streets – Matt Benecke – Nothing to report.

Village Equipment – Julius Maes – Estimate for snow removal coming from Chad Anderson.

 

MAYOR’S REPORT

Budget – Discussion on budget

Shelter in the Park –. No changes currently.

Housing Rehab Round 2 –Waiting on DECO.

IDNR Grant – We are waiting for the DECO paperwork.

Ordinance 791 – ATV, UTV, and golf carts – Will discuss further.

Electronic Sign – Matt Benecke made a motion to approve a one-time application fee of $600 for the sublease with BNSF. 2nd Sid Dev. Roll call vote, all ayes.

A Motion to Adjourn made by Sid Dev, 2nd Julius Maes, motion carried.
